Martyn’s Law and Summer Events: Why Security Matters Across the UK

The Government currently expects the legislation to come into force in spring 2027.

Current guidance highlights measures such as evacuation procedures, lockdown arrangements and effective communication, while larger premises and events may need to consider measures including CCTV, bag searches and vehicle checks where appropriate.
