On Monday, the government will announce the latest updates, and everyone is hoping for a least a little bit of easing with current lockdown procedures. It's looking likely that meeting up outdoors with someone from another household to socialise will be permitted, and with this, we might see high street retailers open their doors once more.

If this happens your local high street will become busier, and despite the sterling effort put into the vaccine roll-out this winter, social distancing is still just as important as ever. This will inevitably put the local councils under pressure to keep the public as safe as possible, and once such way will be through COVID-19 marshals.

We're proud to be able to help in the fight against coronavirus with our highly trained and skilled COVID-19 marshals, able to apply their experience and knowledge of security to what is otherwise a previously unknown position. It takes a unique set of skills to be able to gently but appropriately and efficiently encourage others to abide by government guidelines, but these are skills that our team are highly confident and successful in.

Our COVID-19 marshals are able to help businesses manage queues, support social distancing, remind people who aren't exempt that they should be wearing a face-covering if they are in a place where they need to be and they can assist with cleaning frequently touched surfaces too.

Just like security officers being an excellent deterrent to crime, COVID-19 marshals patrolling a town centre are a great way of reminding the public about the current and invisible threat this virus has. This makes them a passive but highly effective measure that local councils can take, and we're actively recruiting in certain areas to meet demand. So, if you're looking to further your career within the security industry and want to support your country in the fight against coronavirus, please check the careers section on our website or email us an up to date copy of your C.V.

We never subcontract our staff, we invest in their training and we work hard to support our staff. You'll also be safe in the knowledge that you're be working alongside other like-minded individuals.

Alternatively, for more information on how we can work with your local council during these unusual times by providing trained COVID-19 marshals, please don't hesitate to get in touch with a member of our team. We look forward to hearing from you.
